Well, here’s the ABC Wednesday post you’ve been waiting for – ‘J‘ for Johnny. I thought I’d do a little recap of some of the places where I’ve seen him over the years.
Where should I start? I suppose it should be with the very first place I laid my own two eyes on the man himself, at the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory premiere, in London’s Leicester Square!
Since then, I’ve spotted him in all kinds of places – Las Vegas, for instance
I saw him twice, there!
And I’ve seen him on the London Tube at Holborn …
In a condo at Dewey Beach
There is Tennessee Jenn. She’s in a cooperative mood for once. She hates having her picture taken!
See? What can I say? She’s a brat, but I love her! And yes, I know the Depp House is messy. What do you expect from a weekend rental containing upwards of half dozen insane women and several assorted greyhounds?
And I also found Johnny in the Ladies’ Room at a chocolaterie in Wendover!
I’ve met him personally several times now, and he’s a very sweet (and yes, beautiful) person. Here he is at the Dead Man’s Chest premiere, also in Leicester Square
I saw him up close at the premiere for Public Enemies
And in the distance at the screening of Sweeney Todd.
Well. I did tell you it was in the distance, didn’t I? If I remember rightly, Johnny is the last one to appear on stage, and he waves to the audience.
I’ve also spotted various manifestations of Captain Jack Sparrow in odd places. For instance, here’s his flag in Los Angeles
And a painting of Jack in the entrance of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland -
And a wonderful Jack look-alike in Hollywood at the back-to-back showing of all three Pirates movies at the El Capitan theatre.
So there you go. Just a sample of the oodles of pictures of Johnny Depp and related stuff from my archives. I hope you enjoyed that. I know I did!
