Ah! I had guessed it was glass but didn’t know what until I got to the end of the comments and found the answer! Great shot and the game was fun.

AND THE ANSWER IS: A rather lovely glass vinegar bottle which I’ve had for years. When I took it down from the shelf, it was dusty, and contained a little bit of vinegar in the bottom. The shelf is above the cooker, so yes, the glass had ‘sweated’ – there was condensation from the moisture in the vinegar on the inside of it.

The counter top is Corian, not granite, but very well done to those who guessed sweating glass, condensate or granite. I think you can all consider yourself winners!

Gena – A Christmas bauble? Actually, I did take some pictures of those, but no, this isn’t one of them!

Sandy – Thanks for the answers! Like everyone here, then, I was partly right! LOL!

Walter – No, not a water droplet, though I can see that it might look like one!

Sistertex – Not a bad guess – but no. Although something just out of the dishwasher or the freezer might look a lot like this!

Michelle – Yes, it is condensation on a glass object! Right so far, now what’s the glass object?

Jenn of Many Cabbages – Very creative guess! I can see where you think there’s an indentation, but actually there isn’t one! It’s quite smooth.

Teresa – Interesting guess, but no! I don’t even have one of those.

Petra Michelle – Condensation for sure .. not Sid’s bowl though! And not carpet, either.

Strawberry Jam Anne – I’ve got no idea how I’d get a picture of a half a grapefruit through a glass bowl, either! Hmm. Maybe I’ll try that sometime! Sorry, but you’re wrong. It is glass though!

CameoRoze – Not a fishbowl, but it is glass, and it is a granite (Corian, next best thing) counter!

CarolynUSA – Well, it’s certainly a Corian countertop, which is nearly granite! And there’s condensation, but no carbonated drink!

Meleah – Oooh, good one! But no. LOL! Not a door knob, although I kind of wish I had glass doorknobs.

Kim – Blue moon? Now that would have been something! LOL!

Jientje – Bloodsucker jars .. now why didn’t I think of that? Sadly, I don’t have any, so no, it’s not that!

Villager – Another great, and creative, guess! It does look like the inside of the oven, doesn’t it? But it’s not! Tis glass though.

Squirrel Queen – A glass with an ice cube in it, on a granite worktop. Hmm. Good one!! And I can see the ‘ice cube’ now, too – even though there isn’t one!

Liz – Nope, not the bottom of a milk bottle, either. We don’t have those anymore. It’s a pity, because I’m sure that would have made a great macro!

Babs – No, neither of the above. That’s two for the outdoor light globe, though!

Granny Grimble – All excellent thoughts, but all wrong! It is glass, though!

Kaytabug – Oooh, the closest yet, I do believe! Yes, it’s a granite (well, okay, Corian) countertop, and it is sweating glass. Great guess!
