Granny – Haha! Yes, indeed. Absinthe is a drink (needless to say) which has been banned in the past because it was thought to be so toxic it was liable to send people mad. The truth is that it isn’t that toxic at all, but has a very high alcohol content. Looks like a vermouth type drink, but is stronger than many spirits. Hence another reason to dilute it! It’s very strongly flavoured with herbs, including anise. Smells gorgeous!

Babs – Not to far out really! Just that you can’t get drunk on tea. LOL!

Well my first guess was a tea bag squeezer, so I wasn’t so far off. I still have no idea how, or for what that strainer is used. I don’t even know what absinthe is

Oh dear! I didn’t even get the tiniest bit near guessing that one. I’m sorry. but the only thing I know about absinthe is… wait for it…absinthe makes the heart grow fonder!

Everyone – Thank you all so much for playing once more.

I hope you won’t feel too cheated when you find out what this little ‘strainer’ is, but it made a fun macro, didn’t it? And a fun puzzle to work on too. I’ve included a link to a short explanation of what it is and what it does, for those who don’t recognise the object itself.

Next week, I have a much more homely puzzle for you!
