I’ve done a bit of my carpentry in my time and aspired to such skill but never really got there. Just the odd one or two small project. You were very lucky to get the guy when you did.

Meanwhile, I will let you know if I do the writing deed! LOL I’m feeling minxish about which shelf I’d aim for in our house.

Thanks,Doris! It was indeed made to fit, by a very nice chap who had only recently left the employment of a big furniture company to strike out on his own. We caught him early, which was lucky for us, since now you can’t even catch him on the phone he’s so busy! Let me know if you do take the challenge - I’d be interested to read!

It is a wonderful bookshelf and the contents are pretty good and varied too. Any time you need a dog/house sitter for a month or so I’d be quite happy with that little lot J.

What a wonderful bookshelf! No, I don’t mean the collection of books but the actual woodwork of the shelving. Looks like it has been made to fit …. quite lovely.
