I’ve just got back from a short walk in the rain with my two greyhounds. Naturally, they were wearing their England raincoats, and I was rather cheered by the variety of honks, waves, thumbs-up and broad grins we received from passing motorists.
There was no glimmer of acknowledgment from the students out on lunch break from the local college. But then, as a middle-aged person, I’m probably invisible to them. I’m surprised they didn’t see the dogs, though.
LOL Happy St George’s Day!!!! I love the coats …. have you a matching one

You have been tagged (it is on my blog) but I won’t hold you to doing it! Though if you copied and pasted and just changed the bits that need changing it might be easy enough? xxx
Just doing it now, Doris!
LOL!! Great picture!
Your fawn looks Uber Unimpressed, though…
Jenny
Oh, he HATES his coat, Jenny! He has thick fur for a greyhound and mostly doesn’t need a coat at all, but when it’s raining hard, I put one on him just to save me having to wipe him down when we get home because he’s so darn twitchy about that!
The Princess, on the other hand, seems to love dressing up. It figures…
I’m sure they’re real attention getters - Handsome dogs!
Thanks, Cassie! We think so, but we may possibly be biased!
Jen! What are you doing defecting to Jay’s blog? LOL!! Jay, Jen runs a greyhound rehoming charity so I bet she’ll be delighted to see your fur babies!! Those coats are wicked, I want one!!! Thanks for the tag - will set to work xx
Oh, and I’ve had to nick your pic for my blog - hope you don’t mind!!! x
I’m sure I responded to this, but it’s not here!
The coats came from an eBay seller called ‘msweatherwax’. She doesn’t have any England coats right now, but she’s very nice. If you ask, she may do you one.
Nick my pic? No problem as long as you say where you got it!
Now, I’m curious…
