Custom Knives...All of them... but the Brian Tighe one!!
Almost as orgasm-inducing as sharing the room with Sweeney himself.

Yeah, knives.... wanna make something of it? LOL!

I just like them. I have been known to cheer myself up when I'm down by buying a new knife. But I'm not violent, honest!!

Doris, the GS500E was a commuter bike. I couldn't possibly do the crouch over the petrol tank either, on account of a damaged neck. I'm 5' 4" so I could get a foot flat down on that one, or toes down on both feet. It was actually quite a nice bike, though a lot would find it unexciting.

I'm impressed you got back on the bike at all after a brush with death. Probably very good thinking though.

LOL I prefer the "soft" rather than the super-bike riding position of say your Suzuki. Never could get round that squatting over the petrol tank thing!

The other very essential detail is that at 5' 3" I couldn't feel in control of a bike in which I couldn't get at least one foot solidly on the ground. The main reason the CZ was ruled out after I was warned off them. With the Virago I got a whole two feet on the ground.

Very sad about your guy in the club. It is most sobering. I too say I wouldn't ride again because of the traffic but I think I might just one day. When the Virago was fixed up some time after the accident I forced myself to ride it there and then just so that I wouldn't have a fear of actually riding it, and then sold it. However, I was shaken up much more than I realised and it took me 4 attempts at my car license to feel confident enough again.

I've just dug out a post I wrote about a boyfriend with a super bike ..... but the comments section goes off on a tangent.

Yikes! Yes, very scary!

I still tease Mum about that little incident!

We had a Virago too! It was OH's bike but I used to ride it sometimes. I kind of liked it, but the custom style is a bit 'soft' for me. Ha, funny me saying that after a CZ, isn't it? But I picked up a CZ many years after that first one, and it was absolutely TERRIFYING to ride. No handling at all! My own bike was a Suzuki GS500E. I liked that one.

I must admit that with traffic today, I probably wouldn't ride again if I could. One of the guys in the local bike club got killed just before I stopped riding, and it does make you think.
